"She dances like she is the sun - shining and sharing her light."
She is very fluent, fluid in her dance — calm, gentle, and carefree.
She dances as earth dances in its orbit — quietly, yet with a rhythm and pleasure.
But when she dances with a novice like me, she waits for me.
She is patient and her steps move with my pace.
She is not bored, she is not in any hurry, she is not tired, she moves as if she is learning herself.
She gives me time — validates that it's alright to not know.
She pauses when I break and can't catch up with the rhythm.
She lets me catch up.
She doesn't forgive, she goes beyond that.
She creates spaces for me to make mistakes.
She dances like the love for the frozen margarita.
She perhaps doesn't follow what typical dancers would call a dance.
But there is joy in her moves and 'she creates' than 'she follows'.
She dances like she is the sun — shining and sharing her light.
