"The other animals and birds mock her and say- What do you think you are doing?"
One day, a mighty forest catches fire. The blaze begins to sweep through the forest at a very rapid rate.
There is a young parrot which lives on the sandalwood tree, almost dazed at the spectre of the rise of the fire.
This bird gets up, plunges into a lake in the forest, comes up over this blaze and flaps her two little wings.
Two drops of water fall.
She goes again, plunges into the lake, comes back, flaps her two little wings and again two drops of water fall.
The other animals and birds mock her and say- What do you think you are doing?
She turns to them and says- I am doing what I can!
This new year is dedicated to the CAN DO spirit of humans! Let's live up to that.
